Tagruato recognized as top Japanese corporation
When the Tokyo Business Quarterly releases their annual rankings of top Japanese corporations next month, there will be a new addition to the list: Tagruato.

Long ignored by the TBQ, Tagruato will finally join the ranks of such stalwarts as Sony, Canon, Fuji, and Mitsubishi. The list is based upon company size, profit margin for investors, past achievements, and long-term projections. The famed publication has become the unofficial standard for Nikkei pundits.

"Tagruato's growth in the last decade has been astronomical," said TBQ editor-in-chief Morio Hanari. "Profits, employee base, and expenditures have all grown exponentially in each and every year of Yoshida's reign. They are a powerhouse, and their addition to our list proves they must be reckoned with."

Hanari was referring to Tagruato CEO Ganu Yoshida, who took over the company in 1989. The company itself was founded in 1945, and its worldwide employee number recently topped ten thousand.

"This company pulled itself from the lowest dredges," explained Hanari. "Their spot on this list is in recognition of that achievement."

TBQ holds a yearly gala in celebration of the list, attended by top ranking officials from the chosen companies. Both Ganu and COO Danno Jo plan to attend, marking the partners' first known appearance together, public or otherwise.

"I do look forward to rubbing shoulders with my fellow business leaders," said Ganu of the event. "I plan to teach them a thing or two."
